CASE STUDY 2 - HOW GATEWAY IS INVESTING DOLLARS IN AFRICA

Case Study 01

Following our acquisition of Link Africa, Gateway Communications is the leading pan-African satellite connectivity provider.

This is important for Africa in two ways. First, we are able to deliver the highest quality IP-based service portfolio across the continent in Africa including; voice, international and national data links, internet and managed networks, roaming and network consulting.

Second, as Gateway is unique in Africa, we can provide this infrastructure support whilst enabling revenue growth within the continent. In real terms it means that in many areas, dependable in-country and country-to-country communications will be possible for the first time.

More importantly, the dollars generated by this connectivity will stay with the African providers, helping to develop African economies and forge stronger links between African nations.
